New Delhi, Nov. 6 -- The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) will revise train timings on Diwali, November 8, with services on select lines starting an hour earlier while the last train departure across all corridors will be advanced by an hour.

According to a DMRC advisory issued on Friday, metro services on the Pink, Magenta and Grey lines, which ordinarily begin at 7 am on Sundays, will commence at 6 am from their terminal stations.

The revised early morning schedule will apply to the Pink Line (Majlis Park-Shiv Vihar), Magenta Line (Botanical Garden-Krishna Park Extension and Majlis Park-Deepali Chowk) and Grey Line (Dwarka-Dhansa Bus Stand).

Meanwhile, the last metro train service from terminal stations of all corridors, including the Airport Express Line, will commence at 10 pm instead of the routine 11 pm, keeping in view Diwali celebrations during the evening.

The DMRC has advised commuters to plan their journeys accordingly and check its official website and social media handles for further updates.

The revised timings will remain applicable on November 8, the day of Diwali.
