Kolkata, Sept. 14 -- BJP MLA from Hingalganj, Rekha Patra, a prominent face of the Sandeshkhali protests, has threatened to resign over the police's role in a land dispute involving her family.
Patra alleged that masked miscreants hurled abuses outside her house and attempted to assault her mother.
She questioned the police's role, saying her family had faced oppression and her mother lived alone. Patra warned that she would not spare the police if her family was attacked.
