New Delhi, June 21 -- REC Power Development & Consultancy Ltd (RECPDCL) as part of its CSR initiative, has extended financial support of Rs 1.25 crore to the District Administration of Kargil, Ladakh. The funding is dedicated to strengthening critical education, healthcare, & drinking water infrastructure, across the remote district. A key milestone of the initiative was the flagging off of a 40-seater school bus on 19 June 2026 by Jitendra Srivastava, CMD, REC Ltd, in the presence of Joint Secretary, Transmission, Ministry of Power, GoI; Prince Dhawan, CEO, RECPDCL & key officials of the UT Administration of Ladakh & Ladakh Autonomous Hill Development Council (LAHDC), Kargil.
