New Delhi, Sept. 18 -- Prasanna Kumar Acharya assumed charge as Chairman-cum-Managing Director (CMD) of NLC India Ltd (NLCIL) on September 17, 2026, at its corporate office in Neyveli.
Acharya, who earlier served as NLCIL's Director (Finance), has nearly three decades of experience in power, mining and infrastructure, including key roles at GRIDCO, NTPC and Tata Power.
He has contributed to digital transformation, governance reforms, critical mineral and coal acquisitions, renewable energy projects and joint ventures. NLCIL's growth roadmap targets over 20 GW power capacity and more than 100 MTPA mining capacity by 2030.
