India, July 31 -- Delhi Police arrested a man accused of raping a woman at gunpoint, recording the assault and blackmailing her into repeated sexual exploitation after evading arrest for two years. The case was registered in September 2024 at Dwarka North police station. Police said the accused gained the woman's trust through her husband before assaulting her at his Dwarka residence in July 2023. He allegedly threatened her with a firearm, recorded the act and repeatedly exploited her. A Crime Branch team tracked and arrested him from Nangloi on Wednesday. He has seven criminal cases and was declared a proclaimed offender in Nagpur.
