India, Aug. 19 -- More than 47 lakh of Delhi's 1.45 crore voters, around one in three, are likely to be excluded from the draft electoral rolls under the ongoing Special Intensive Revision (SIR), according to poll body data. The door-to-door verification ended on August 17, with over 67 per cent of enumeration forms digitised. In 47 of Delhi's 70 constituencies, more than 30 per cent of voters face exclusion. The figure is particularly high in RK Puram (44.46 per cent), New Delhi (41.76 per cent), Malviya Nagar (38.64 per cent) and Greater Kailash (35 per cent). The draft rolls will be published on August 24, with claims and objections accepted until September 23.
