Electricity distribution companies deployed field teams as soon as wind conditions improved. Linemen worked in heavy rain to clear fallen trees and debris, repair damaged poles and power lines, and restore feeders. Special teams have been deployed in Ganjam and Gajapati.

Telecom restoration is also underway, with services restored in 20 blocks of Ganjam by 5 pm on October 31. However, work remains pending in two blocks for BSNL, eight for Jio and seven for Airtel.
