NOIDA, May 17 -- In a major step towards digital governance, the Noida Authority is preparing to make its entire functioning paperless by integrating all departmental records and files into a unified online platform.

The move comes in view of the rapidly expanding urban infrastructure and the growing number of property-related matters in the city. Once implemented, officials will no longer need to search through files across multiple departments to access information related to a property. By entering a property number, complete details of the allottee and related approvals will be available instantly on a mobile phone or computer screen.

Officials said the integrated digital system is aimed at increasing transparency, improving coordination among departments and speeding up public services.

According to the authority, the existing manual file system will gradually be phased out. An integrated online platform is being developed to connect all current software systems and departmental databases under a single digital framework.

Under the new arrangement, departments including building plan approval, water, sewer, electricity and NOC-related sections will be linked to the same system. If an allottee gets a building map approved and later applies for water connection, sewer clearance or other permissions, officials will not have to call for separate files from different departments.

Instead, officers will be able to log into the server, enter the property number and instantly access the complete record of the allottee. The system will display building plan approvals, payment status, application progress and all departmental permissions on one screen.

The authority believes the digital platform will significantly reduce delays caused by missing files, manual verification and lack of inter-departmental coordination. It will also improve record security and make tracking of

applications easier.

Officials said a presentation of the integrated software was recently made before the Authority CEO, during which several technical and operational suggestions were discussed.

Officials said the phased paperless system will improve transparency, accountability and efficiency while reducing delays and paperwork for residents.
