Kolkata, Oct. 30 -- Chief Minister Suvendu Adhikari on Friday said that the situation in North Bengal is fully under control and the glacial lake outburst in Bhutan had no impact there.
The Chief Minister also stated that the state government kept a tab on the situation and the senior government officials from North Bengal were in touch with Nabanna throughout the night.
"The SP, ministers, MLA and DM, all were all working until 4 am. The Sankosh River is flowing below the danger level.
We have also established contact with the people who were reported missing this morning. All 47 people are safe," the CM said. There is currently no reason to worry, and everyone is safe, Adhikari said.
