New Delhi, Oct. 17 -- NMDC's Vigilance Department on Friday unveiled a vigilance portal for NMDC Steel Ltd, an online quarter management system for employee accommodation and the second edition of the NMDC Vigilance Manual, 2026, at a capacity-building programme in Hyderabad.
Organised under the Central Vigilance Commission's aegis, the programme focused on transparency, accountability and cybersecurity under the theme 'Probity for Prosperity'. Vigilance Commissioner Praveen Vashisht stressed effective implementation of vigilance guidelines while protecting honest officers. NMDC Chairman and Managing Director Amitava Mukherjee highlighted the company's record iron ore production, expansion into new minerals and sustainability initiatives. The programme brought together 113 executives from 18 organisations across Telangana and Andhra Pradesh, covering procurement transparency, cybersecurity and vigilance procedures.
