India, June 30 -- A 35-year-old man was killed and three others were injured after two motorcycles collided near Deen Dayal Upadhyay Park in central Delhi on Sunday night, police said. The accident occurred around 10.10 pm. Police said the injured riders were rushed to Lok Nayak Jai Prakash (LNJP) Hospital, where one of them, identified as Shivan, was declared brought dead. The three injured are undergoing treatment. Police have registered a case at the IP Estate Police Station under charges of rash and negligent driving and causing death by negligence. Both motorcycles have been seized. Two juveniles have been apprehended, while the main accused remains absconding. Police said the trio had allegedly stolen two scooters before targeting the victim. Efforts are on to trace the main suspect, recover weapon. Search on after man jumps into Yamuna NEW DELHI: A 30-year-old man allegedly jumped into the Yamuna from the DND Flyway early on Monday, triggering a multi-agency search operation. Police recovered his scooter, two mobile phones and slippers from the bridge. Preliminary inquiry suggests he was facing matrimonial disputes and related court cases, though no suicide note has been found. The search by the NDRF, DFS and others was ongoing.
