India, Aug. 10 -- NDMC Vice-Chairperson Kuljeet Singh Chahal on Sunday urged residents, RWAs, market associations, schools and institutions to participate in the 'Har Ghar Tiranga 2026' campaign and hoist the national flag at their homes. Chahal was speaking at the 36th consecutive Sunday of the 'Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam' plantation campaign at Palika Enclave, 99 Quarters, Moti Bagh. Residents, RWA representatives and NDMC officials planted saplings in honour of their mothers. Chahal said the sustained participation reflected growing public involvement in environmental conservation. He said the success of plantation drives should be measured not merely by the number of saplings planted but also by their survival and maintenance.
