
Ranchi, July 9 -- During the valedictory session of the National Stakeholders' Consultation, a total of 14 Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) were signed, attracting a proposed industrial investment of Rs 99,639 crore.
Under the Department of Industries, landmark investment agreements were executed with leading companies, including M/s Jindal Steel Ltd. (Rs 40,000 crore) and M/s Jindal Nuclear Power Pvt. Ltd. (Rs 30,000 crore), reaffirming investors' confidence in Jharkhand's growth potential.
To strengthen the State's digital ecosystem and governance framework, strategic partnerships were formalised with M/s Google Cloud and the Wadhwani Group for the expansion of technology infrastructure and e-Governance initiatives.
In the tourism sector, pioneering collaborations were established with M/s TATA Motors for the promotion of Mining Tourism and with M/s EaseMyTrip Planners to enhance tourism promotion and visitor outreach.
These partnerships underscore the Government's commitment to fostering investment, accelerating innovation and positioning Jharkhand as a leading destination for industry, technology and sustainable tourism.
Under the auspicious presence of Chief Minister Hemant Soren and these MoUs were signed. On this occasion Minister Deepika Pandey, Minister Sanjay Prasad Yadav, Minister Sudivya Kumar and Minister Irfan Ansari were present.
Chief Secretary Avinash Kumar, Development Commissioner Ajay Kumar Singh was also there.
