New Delhi, Sept. 12 -- Former MP and senior Ladakh leader Thupstan Chhewang has called the recent meeting of the Apex Body Leh, Kargil Democratic Alliance (KDA) and the Union Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) "fruitful", asserting that several issues of importance to Ladakh had positive developments following the talks.
Chhewang said he was dismayed to read the reactions put forth in the media, wherein several issues raised during the meeting were not conveyed to the people, while the talks were panned in some quarters of the media as one that had not yielded any positive outcome. According to Chhewang, the meeting continued to discuss the items placed before it.
