Kolkata, Oct. 12 -- Former CM Mamata Banerjee is likely to lead a protest rally from Rajabazar to Park Circus on Tuesday over alleged vote theft, raising traffic concerns amid heavy Durga Puja pandal-hopping. Former Election Commissioner Ashok Lavasa and actor Prakash Raj are also expected in Kolkata for a separate programme supporting citizens who allegedly lost voting rights.

Chief Minister Suvendu Adhikari accused Banerjee of attempting to disrupt Puja festivities, predicting a poor showing for the Trinamool in upcoming civic polls.

He also criticised the party's association with CPI(M) leader M A Baby and accused Banerjee of aligning with forces opposed to the BJP.
