Kolkata, Oct. 13 -- Ahead of the Durga Puja, Nabanna has transferred a few IAS officers to new postings. Mukta Arya, a 2008-batch officer, has been appointed chairman and managing director of West Bengal Power Development Corporation Ltd (WBPDCL).
Shashank Shetti, a 2010-batch IAS officer, has been posted as secretary of the Sunderbans Affairs Department, while fellow 2010-batch officer Arvind Kumar Mina has been appointed secretary of the Tribal Development Department.
Meanwhile, 2007-batch IAS officer C Murugan, currently serving as deputy chairman of the Tea Board, has been posted as joint secretary in the Union Ministry of Road Transport and Highways.
