Chandigarh, Sept. 29 -- Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini on Tuesday announced special incentives for doctors, support staff and Ayushman Mitras at government hospitals witnessing higher patient footfall under the Ayushman Bharat and Chirayu schemes.
Chairing a review meeting with Health Department officials, Saini said funds received by government hospitals for treating beneficiaries would also be used for hospital upgrades and sanitation.
He directed officials to increase Ayushman packages in government hospitals and include free treatment for diabetic retinopathy. He also ordered immediate filling of vacant posts of doctors, radiologists and cardiologists.
