Chandigarh, Sept. 14 -- Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini and BJP state president Dr Archana Gupta on Sunday launched the 'Namo Seva Portal' at Panchkamal in Panchkula to facilitate wider public participation in the Seva Sankalp Abhiyan.
The portal will connect citizens, social and religious organisations and volunteers with various service activities being organised under the campaign. Citizens can register through their mobile numbers and choose activities according to their availability.
Information on all 12 programmes and 25 service activities under the campaign has been made available on the portal. Registered volunteers will receive updates on programmes and can provide consent to participate in activities of their choice. They can also mark attendance at venues through a QR code.
The portal will allow volunteers to access their profiles, participation details, achievements and information about upcoming programmes. Participants will also receive certificates after completing activities. A referral facility will help volunteers connect more people with the campaign.
Developed by the BJP IT Department, Haryana, the portal brings information, participation and communication onto a single digital platform. BJP IT head Aditya Chawla said the portal would soon be available on the Play Store and Apple App Store.
