Chandigarh, Sept. 28 -- Congress workers staged protests across Haryana on Monday, alleging "vote theft" and collusion between the Election Commission and the BJP, with former chief minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda joining the demonstration in Rohtak.
Hooda accused Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar of helping the BJP manipulate the electoral process and demanded his resignation and arrest, along with a review of election-related decisions taken during his tenure.
He alleged that the Haryana election mandate was "stolen" and said the Congress had raised several questions with the Election Commission but received no answers.
