New Delhi, Aug. 28 -- A Delhi Traffic Police head constable went beyond his duties to help a divyang person safely cross a busy road near Azadpur Mandi in Sarai Pipal Thala, Model Town, on August 27.
Head Constable Manoj, deployed for traffic management, noticed the person waiting for an opportunity to cross amid heavy traffic.
He immediately stepped in, lifted the person and carried him across the road to safety. The gesture reflected the tact, compassion and public-spiritedness expected of traffic personnel, who are tasked not only with managing traffic but also assisting vulnerable road users.
Manoj's act of kindness embodies the Delhi Traffic Police's ethos of "Serving with Care and Compassion" and highlights its commitment to citizens' safety.
