Greater Noida, Sept. 4 -- The Greater Noida Authority has approved 25 development and maintenance projects worth Rs 31.92 crore to improve roads, drainage, street lighting, greenery, parks and other civic infrastructure. Applications have been invited till September 18, with the pre-qualification meeting scheduled for September 21. Work is expected to begin after the process is completed.

Among the major projects, Rs 1.89 crore has been allocated for internal road maintenance in Sector 3, while Rs 1.79 crore will be spent on resurfacing the Dankaur-Sikandrabad Road towards Dankaur village.

More than Rs 1.57 crore has been earmarked for a pre-stressed RCC drain and green belt along the 80-metre road between Sector 1 and KP-5.

The authority will also spend Rs 1.92 crore on high-mast lights in parks in Omicron-3, Mu-1 and Zeta, and Rs 1.59 crore on streetlights along service roads. Annual maintenance of the Surajpur-Kasna Road, including drain cleaning and kerb repairs, will cost Rs 1.59 crore over three years.

Six projects involving parks and the health department have also been approved.
