New Delh, Sept. 25 -- Delhi's government schools have featured prominently in the EducationWorld India School Rankings 2026-27, with four DBRA CM Shri Schools securing places among the top seven state government day schools nationally.
DBRA CM Shri School, Sector 10, Dwarka, ranked third, followed by the Yamuna Vihar and Sector 19, Dwarka schools at fifth and sixth. The Surajmal Vihar campus ranked seventh.
The rankings, released by EducationWorld in association with AZ Research Partners, were based on a nationwide survey of 18,000 parents, teachers, educators and counsellors across 34 cities. The 20th edition assessed 4,500 schools across 22 states and 34 cities on 14 parameters, including academic reputation, faculty competence, leadership, curriculum, infrastructure, sports and student well-being.
Army Public School, Delhi Cantt, topped the Central Government Day Schools category, while Springdales School, Dhaula Kuan, ranked first among co-educational day schools.
The Shri Ram School and Nirmal Bhartia School shared second place in the latter category. Several other Delhi schools also featured in girls', boys', legacy and international categories.
