New Delhi, Oct. 24 -- This festive season, families who spent years paying rent and home-loan EMIs finally received documents for their homes, symbolically ending their "Vanvas".
At a ceremony held late evening on October 23, 2026 at Leisure Valley Adarsh Awas Yojana (AAY), Tech Zone IV, Greater Noida West, R Venkataramani, Attorney General for India and Ld. Court Receiver (Amrapali), and Dr. K P Mahadevaswamy, Chairman and MD, NBCC (India) Ltd, handed over 51 NOCs & possession letters.

Adarsh Awas Yojana was the last stalled Amrapali project where handovers had not begun. With this, every stalled project NBCC is completing under Supreme Court supervision has started delivering homes.
Spread over 5.1 acres, the project has eight towers of up to 33 floors, nearly 118 metres high, with 1,904 apartments and about 2.58 million sq ft of built-up area. NBCC is nearing completion of all 24 Phase-1 residential projects. Of about 37,250 units under its scope, about 35,000 are complete and about 23,700 handed over. Phase-2 FAR projects, comprising around 8200 units, are expected to be completed in 2028.
As on 30.9.2026, work worth around Rs 13,000 crore had been executed, including Rs 8,300 crore under Phase-1 and approximately Rs 4,700 crore under FAR projects.
Despite pandemic-related disruptions, rising costs and funding constraints, NBCC has completed the projects without passing cost escalation on to buyers.
