India, July 30 -- The University of Delhi (DU) on Wednesday announced the next phase of its Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS-UG) 2026-27 admissions, releasing the schedule for the upgrade window, mid-entry, performance-based programmes and the third round of seat allocation. The university also reported that undergraduate admissions have crossed the 71,000 mark. According to admission data released, a total of 71,342 candidates had completed undergraduate admissions. Of these, 32,233 candidates opted to freeze their allotted seats, while 25,088 applied for an upgrade. At 6 p.m., the admission count stood at 71,258, indicating that 84 additional admissions were completed within 30 minutes.
The university said upgraded allocations and the first round of the Ward Quota will be declared on August 1. Colleges will verify and approve applications between August 1 and August 3, while candidates must complete the online fee payment by August 4. A Mid-Entry and Correction Window will remain open from August 3 to August 5. Candidates who did not apply during Phase I of CSAS may participate by paying a non-refundable mid-entry fee of Rs.1,000. The third CSAS allocation list will be released on August 8, followed by CW, ECA, Sports and Ward Quota admissions in subsequent rounds.
