NEW DELHI, July 8 -- The Delhi Police Crime Branch has traced and reunited six missing persons, including minors, young adults and an unidentified body linked to a missing person case, under its ongoing Operation Milap.

The recoveries were made by the Anti-Human Trafficking Units (AHTU) of Northern Range-I and Northern Range-II during coordinated operations across Delhi and Haryana.

Among those traced were two missing girls carrying rewards of Rs 20,000 each, an especially abled young man missing for over two years, an 11-year-old boy, and a 14-year-old girl reported missing from Paschim Vihar on July 1. Police located the minor in Seemapuri within two days using technical surveillance and local enquiries. She later told investigators she had travelled with a friend without informing her family.

In another case, an 18-year-old girl missing from Rohini since December 2025 and another 19-year-old woman from Alipur were traced in Haryana and West Delhi, respectively.

Police also reunited a mentally ill and speech-impaired 21-year-old man with his family after identifying him through photographs circulated among shelter homes and social media groups. An unidentified body was also identified through verification of a UIDB entry linked to an ongoing investigation.

Police said all recovered persons have been handed over to the respective investigating officers for further legal proceedings.
