India, July 21 -- On the directions of Delhi Lieutenant Governor Sardar Taranjit Singh Sandhu, the Delhi Development Authority (DDA) will open online registration for lifetime membership of its 18-hole championship golf course in Dwarka Sector 24 from July 21 for a period of two months. The golf course, inaugurated in 2024, has so far offered only three-year and five-year tenure memberships. Spread across 158 acres and measuring 7,377 yards, the 18-hole championship course will offer 850 lifetime memberships, including 250 under the Government category and 600 under the Non-Government category. Golfers will also continue to have the option of three-year and five-year tenure memberships.
The lifetime membership fee has been fixed at Rs 3.50 lakh for the Government category and Rs 7.50 lakh for the Non-Government category. Three-year memberships are priced at Rs 1.20 lakh and Rs 2.50 lakh respectively, while five-year memberships cost Rs 1.80 lakh and Rs 4.50 lakh. Applicants must apply online by paying a non-refundable registration fee of Rs 2,500. Following scrutiny, selected applicants will be required to deposit the membership fee online within 30 days of receiving the offer. If the number of eligible applications exceeds the available memberships, allotment will be made through a computerised draw of lots. Only one application per applicant will be accepted. The golf course features a 375-yard driving range with 52 bays, North Shore SLT grass fairways, and a clubhouse with a restaurant, cafeteria, conference hall, lecture hall, pro shop, equipment fitting studio, swimming pool, sauna and steam facilities. The facility includes a golf academy, automated irrigation, drainage and rainwater recharge systems.
