New Delhi, Oct. 30 -- The Delhi Development Authority's (DDA) Awaas Nivesh Yojana 2026 saw all 1,648 additional Lower Income Group (LIG) flats in Narela booked within an hour of online bookings opening on October 29. With this, all 4,164 flats offered under the scheme across two phases have been booked, following a strong response from prospective homebuyers.

The additional flats in Pocket 1, Sectors G2-G6, Narela, were opened for booking at 12 noon. The second phase followed the booking of 2,516 flats in Pockets 3 and 6 of the same sectors, which were taken up within two hours of bookings opening on October 20.

The latest bookings have brought the total number of flats offered under the scheme to 4,164, with no flats left unbooked among those offered in the two phases. The scheme has been consistently monitored by Delhi Lieutenant Governor Sardar Taranjit Singh Sandhu. The response also comes as Narela continues to develop as an emerging sub city of Delhi.

The area is gradually strengthening its position as a residential, educational, institutional and sports hub, with infrastructure development underway. DDA's efforts to improve infrastructure and civic amenities are also aimed at strengthening its potential as one of the capital's important future growth centres.
