New Delhi, Nov. 3 -- The Delhi Development Authority (DDA) used interactive educational games, workshops and digital outreach to promote integrity and transparency among its officers and employees during Vigilance Awareness Week 2026, observed from October 26 to November 2 under the theme "Probity for Prosperity". In a distinctive initiative, DDA used the couplets of Sant Kabir and Rahim to explain moral values and games such as Snakes and Ladders to communicate vigilance principles. The authority also organised a special awareness event at Mehrauli Archaeological Park on October 31 in the presence of Vigilance Commissioner Praveen Vashista, DDA Vice Chairman N Saravana Kumar, 13 Chief Vigilance Officers from various organisations in Delhi and other government officials.

Vashista stressed the importance of preventive vigilance in promoting good governance and strengthening institutional accountability. Kumar highlighted DDA's initiatives in heritage conservation, plantation activities and technology-driven transparency, including its online complaint management system. The event also included a walk covering the Jamali Kamali Complex, Quli Khan's Tomb and Metcalfe's Boathouse, ending at the Interpretation Centre.

Other activities during the week included an Integrity Pledge Ceremony, a half-day workshop and debate, essay writing and poster making competitions in Hindi and English. Posters, banners, stickers, pledge pamphlets and digital messages were also used to spread awareness.
