India, Aug. 17 -- The DDA Karmajeevi Awaas Yojana 2026 received an overwhelming response on the first day of bookings, with more than 50 per cent of the 1,218 flats on offer 661 flats booked on Sunday. The scheme was launched under the guidance of Lieutenant Governor of Delhi and Chairman, DDA, Sardar Taranjit Singh Sandhu. Bookings opened on the occasion of the 80th Independence Day through the First Come, First Serve (FCFS) mode. The 1-BHK category witnessed a particularly strong response, highlighting the preference for affordable housing among homebuyers and working professionals. The scheme offers 1,218 ready-to-move flats at Pocket-11, Sector A1-A4, Narela, at a flat 25 per cent discount. Prices after discount start at Rs 33.40 lakh for 1-BHK, Rs 75.55 lakh for 2-BHK and Rs 1.065 crore for 3-BHK flats. It is designed for serving and retired government employees and working professionals from corporate, business, entrepreneurial and professional sectors. The strong response comes amid robust DDA housing sales in Narela. In the first quarter of the current financial year, DDA sold 1,284 flats, generating over Rs 1,020 crore, with Narela accounting for 1,153 flats, nearly 90 per cent of total sales.
