New delhi, June 9 -- A Delhi Police constable posted in North-West Delhi was found dead inside his car near the Rohad toll plaza in Haryana, adding that the exact cause of death will be determined after the completion of medico-legal formalities and an investigation by the local police.

The deceased has been identified as Constable Sudhir, who was serving at the Adarsh Nagar Police Station in the North-West District of Delhi Police. His sudden demise has left colleagues and family members in shock.

According to the Delhi Police, information regarding the incident was received on June 8 at around 9:35 a.m. from Sudhir's brother-in-law, Sehdev, who informed authorities that the constable had not returned home after completing his duty. Following the information, efforts were initiated to trace his whereabouts.

During the search, a Hyundai i20 car was found stationed near the toll plaza.

The vehicle drew attention after reports indicated that a person was inside and appeared unresponsive. Local police promptly reached the location and found Constable Sudhir inside the vehicle.
