Mohali, Sept. 1 -- Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann on Tuesday criticised the Congress and Akali Dal, accusing them of having "hollowed out Punjab like termites" and alleging that the Akali Dal is "seeking an alliance with the BJP to loot the state".

Addressing a Lok Milni programme in Kharar, Mann said Opposition parties were focused on political power while his government was working on education, healthcare, roads, electricity and water.

He warned that a change in government could affect welfare schemes launched by the AAP government.

Mann highlighted free power, jobs for more than 70,000 youth, improved roads and healthcare initiatives, including the Mukh Mantri Sehat Yojna.
