India, May 4 -- Celebrating the Bharatiya Janata Party's sweeping victories in West Bengal and Assam, Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta on Monday termed the results a "historic mandate" and a decisive endorsement of development-driven governance under Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Welcoming the outcome, Gupta congratulated Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah and BJP national president Nitin Nabin, crediting their leadership for the party's electoral success.
