
New Delhi, Sept. 14 -- CM Rekha Gupta on Monday directed officials to complete construction of a Chhath Ghat on the Munak Canal stretch near Inderlok Metro station within the stipulated timeline.
Gupta inspected the site with senior Irrigation and Flood Control Department officials. The department is rejuvenating and beautifying the dry five-kilometre stretch between the Outer Ring Road and Inderlok Metro station at an estimated cost of Rs 42 crore.
The project includes cleaning the canal, removing sludge and waste, ensuring clean water flow and constructing concrete steps for Chhath ghats on both sides. Boundary walls, greenery, landscaped parks, seating and lighting will
