Raipur, Sept. 27 -- Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai on Sunday welcomed Prime Minister Narendra Modi's praise for Chhattisgarh's 'Har Ghar Munga' nutrition campaign in his latest 'Mann Ki Baat' broadcast, and said the national recognition for the state's initiatives is a matter of pride.

Addressing a gathering in Kanker district, Sai urged citizens across Chhattisgarh to plant moringa saplings in their backyards and spread awareness about the plant's nutritional benefits.

Sai listened to the 138th episode of Modi's monthly radio programme at the Eklavya Model Residential School in Lamkanhar village of the Antagarh development block.

Modi, while highlighting September as Poshan Maah, cited Chhattisgarh's 'Har Ghar Munga' campaign, which aims to encourage people to include moringa, locally known as munga, in their daily diet and plant its saplings.

The chief minister said that 'Mann Ki Baat' provides a national platform for showcasing positive changes and innovations driven by public participation across the country.
