New Delhi, July 8 -- Bharat Ki Soch (BKS) and the Manav Rachna Centre for Peace & Sustainability (MRCPS), Manav Rachna University, have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to promote the Indian Knowledge System (IKS) as a framework for sustainable development, civic responsibility and national progress.
The partnership aims to integrate classical Indian wisdom with modern academic and policy frameworks to support the country's journey towards a Viksit Bharat. All joint initiatives and research outputs will be undertaken under the joint branding of BKS and MRCPS.
Speaking on the occasion, BKS Chairperson Anil Rajput said meaningful national transformation must begin at the grassroots, particularly with students and children, who can act as catalysts for sustainable growth and character-building. He stressed that development should be measured not only by economic progress but also by the happiness and well-being of citizens.
Manav Rachna University Vice Chancellor Prof. Deependra Kumar Jha said ancient Indic principles offer valuable solutions to contemporary challenges and should be embedded in modern education and policymaking.
The collaboration will focus on six key areas, including health, environmental sustainability, ethical governance, civic responsibility, national security, conscious capitalism and climate-resilient agricultural systems, while producing research papers and policy briefs on identified themes.
