Patna, Oct. 8 -- The Chief Electoral Office of Bihar has launched a special drive to enrol voters "left out" of the electoral rolls during the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) last year, and the new electors, officials said on Thursday.

"Under the drive, Booth Level Officers (BLOs) will conduct house-to-house verification of such voters and facilitate their enrolment through Form 6 if found eligible. The process has to be completed within a month," said the statement.

The BLOs will also share details of identified eligible voters with representatives of recognised political parties, while Electoral Registration Officers will provide booth-wise lists after completion of the drive.
