Raebareli, April 15 -- The 135th birth anniversary of BR Ambedkar was celebrated at the Modern Coach Factory here, with tributes and programmes highlighting his legacy.

The event began with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp and floral tributes by General Manager Raman Krishnan and senior officials. Addressing the gathering, Krishnan spoke about Ambedkar's vision for a progressive India and his pivotal role in shaping the Constitution. He underlined Ambedkar's lifelong struggles and contributions towards social justice, women's empowerment and nation-building, urging employees to follow his ideals. Senior officers and representatives of various associations also shared insights from Ambedkar's life and teachings.

A separate tribute programme was organised on April 15 at the Technical Training Centre (TTC), attended by senior officials, staff members and representatives of SC/ST, OBC associations and employee unions.
