India, July 15 -- The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) has issued the information brochure for the first and second rounds of online seat allocation for the M.Sc. Nursing August 2026 session. Candidates listed in Result Notification No. 207/2026, dated June 27, are eligible to participate, subject to fulfilling the eligibility criteria prescribed in the prospectus and notices available on the AIIMS website. Eligible candidates can log in to the online seat allocation portal and submit an unlimited number of institute and subject/speciality preferences in their preferred order. Choices may be edited within the stipulated schedule and will automatically carry forward to the second round. Candidates who fail to exercise their choices in the first round will not be considered for either round of seat allocation. Also Read - MCD rolls out EduLife 2.0 for schools Candidates allotted seats in the first round must either accept the seat without participating further or accept it while opting for the second round. Those opting for upgradation must join any upgraded seat allotted in the second round, with the earlier seat standing vacated automatically. Failure to join either the first-round or upgraded seat will attract a penalty of Rs 1 lakh. Candidates must report in person to the allotted institute within the prescribed schedule with original certificates or deposit Rs 1 lakh. AIIMS said reserved category and Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) candidates must produce valid certificates during reporting. The second round of seat allocation will commence after completion of the first round.
