NEW DELHI, May 12 -- The 51st Convocation Ceremony of All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi was held at Bharat Mandapam on Tuesday, where over 300 students from various medical and healthcare disciplines were conferred degrees in the presence of distinguished dignitaries, faculty members and healthcare professionals.

Addressing the ceremony, Vice President CP Radhakrishnan praised AIIMS for emerging as the country's leading centre for medical innovation and healthcare excellence. He said the institution was no longer merely pursuing international benchmarks but was now establishing them through its achievements in research, patient care and medical education. Highlighting AIIMS' contribution to affordable healthcare, the VP said the institute had become synonymous with trust and integrity. He lauded the institution for maintaining high academic standards while efficiently managing an enormous patient load.
