India, July 28 -- AAP national convenor Arvind Kejriwal on Monday announced that the party will hold a 'National Town Hall Against E20' at the Constitution Club of India on August 1 to bring together stakeholders and press the Centre to withdraw E20 petrol. Addressing a press conference, Kejriwal urged people to participate in large numbers, saying experts and vehicle owners affected by E20 fuel would discuss ways to build pressure on the Centre. AAP's online petition seeking to make E20 fuel optional has garnered nearly two lakh signatures. Kejriwal said he would submit it to PM Modi after the meet. He invited people to join virtually and reiterated his demand for lower-priced ethanol-blended petrol.
