
New Delhi, Oct. 7 -- Scores of AAP and other parties' workers protested outside the Delhi Chief Electoral Officer's office at Kashmere Gate on Wednesday for the resignation of Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar over alleged irregularities in the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of
electoral rolls.
Delhi Aam Aadmi Party chief Saurabh Bharadwaj said the party will ask the polling official about the deletion of lakhs of city's voters from the voter list.
"We don't have any personal rivalry with the government. We are fighting for the Constitution and rights. We also want to cooperate with the police," Bharadwaj said.
Demanding Kumar's resignation, protesters raised slogans: "Vote chori nahi chalegi" and "Vote chor, gaddi chhor".
Bharadwaj, whose party has been seeking answers on deletion of nearly "half" of Delhi population's names from the voter roll, said
