New Delhi, May 14 -- AAP MP Sanjay Singh on Thursday said he would seek an appointment with Delhi Lieutenant Governor Taranjit Singh Sandhu over the alleged rape of a three-year-old girl at a private school in Janakpuri and demand strict action. Addressing a press conference, Singh said he would take a delegation to discuss steps to ensure justice for the child and accountability in the case.
He added that if no appointment was granted, the party would decide its future course of action. The remarks came after protests led by Saurabh Bharadwaj outside Raj Niwas. The case relates to the alleged assault on May 1, for which a 57-year-old school caretaker was arrested and later granted bail.
