
New Delhi, Sept. 29 -- 'Godrej Literature Live! The Mumbai LitFest' returns to the National Centre for the Performing Arts (NCPA) from October 23 to October 25 for its 17th edition, with Godrej Industries Group joining as title partner.
The Group, which has stood at the confluence of art and industry, poetry and progress for over a century, takes on the role as the festival opens a new chapter. Over 16 editions, the festival has enriched the city's cultural life and it remains an eagerly awaited space for meaningful conversation among writers, thinkers, performers and audiences of all ages, interests and dispositions.
Beyond literature, this year's programme spans cinema, journalism, economics, medicine, history, the arts, sport, technology, the environment, identity and the digital ecosystem.
The line-up includes Ayaz Memon, Boria Majumdar, Faye D'Souza, Gulzar, Jaspreet Bindra, Javed Akhtar, Jerry Pinto, Juhi Babbar, Kaushik Basu, Mazda Turel, Naman Ahuja, Pavan K Varma, Ramachandra Guha, Ratna Pathak Shah, Shanta Gokhale, Shashi Tharoor, Shefali Shah, Sonali Kulkarni and others.

Highlights include the Godrej Literature Live! Literary Awards for 'Lifetime Achievement', 'Poet Laureate', 'Fiction', 'Non-Fiction' and 'Business' books. The programme also features the 'Great Debate', 'Book in Focus', international performances, workshops, book launches and the ever-popular book swap. Through the Godrej DEI Lab, the festival continues to deepen its commitment to inclusion, foregrounding voices from the LGBTQIA+ community and minority groups.
