India, Aug. 25 -- The Delhi Food Safety Department destroyed around 508 kg of spurious paneer during an enforcement drive at Okhla Sabzi Mandi and collected 22 food samples from across the city for laboratory testing. Health Minister Pankaj Kumar Singh said strict action would be taken against food adulteration, particularly ahead of festivals. Dedicated teams have been deployed across districts to inspect food establishments, markets and supply points, with intensified checks planned during Raksha Bandhan and other upcoming festivals.
