Mali, April 30 -- The Council of Ministers met in ordinary session on Wednesday, April 29, 2026, at the Koulouba Palace, under the chairmanship of General Assimi GOITA, President of the Transition and Head of State.

At the opening of the session, the President of the Transition observed a minute of silence in memory of Lieutenant General Sadio CAMARA, Minister of State, Minister of Defense and Veterans Affairs, as well as all the victims of the terrorist attack that occurred on April 25, 2026. He paid tribute to the deceased, offered his condolences to the bereaved families and wished a speedy recovery to the injured.
