TAWAU, Sept. 30 -- A 37-year-old Indonesian woman was reportedly found dead with injuries at a plantation workers' quarters in Felda Umas, Jalan Kalabakan, on Monday, with police arresting her husband in connection with the case.

According to Sinar Harian, Tawau police chief ACP Rosdi Mat Jusoh said the woman, who worked at the plantation, was found unconscious following an incident at about 4.55pm and was pronounced dead at the scene at about 8.16pm.

"Investigations at the scene found injuries to the victim's head, neck and hands," he was quoted as saying.

Police reportedly arrested the victim's 38-year-old Indonesian husband, who had also suffered an injury to his neck and is receiving treatment at Tawau Hospital.
