SEOUL, Aug. 9 -- A woman in her 20s has been arrested after allegedly attacking the entrance of K-pop powerhouse YG Entertainment's headquarters with a golf club in a dramatic incident caught on camera.

Police detained the woman at about 9pm on Thursday outside the company's headquarters in Hapjeong-dong, western Seoul, according to The Korea Herald.

Footage of the incident subsequently spread across social media after a fan who had been filming a dance video nearby captured the confrontation.

The footage shows the woman running towards the YG building carrying a golf club before repeatedly striking its glass entrance doors.
