HONG KONG, Oct. 26 -- Bernice Liu has seemingly confirmed her romance with Hong Kong tycoon Frederick Lui, former chairman of the Tung Wah Group of Hospitals.

The 47-year-old Canada-born former TVB actress attended the Hong Kong Breast Cancer Foundation's annual Pink Walk on Oct 25, where she was asked about her relationship with Lui, who's 23 years her senior.

Rumours of their romance first popped up in July this year.

"I'm happy! Honestly, regardless of your gender, the most important thing is to be happy," she told Hong Kong media at the event.

On whether there are any plans for marriage, she said there's none at the moment but would inform everyone if there are "special happy events" on the horizon.
