HONG KONG, Nov. 2 -- Veteran Hong Kong actor Stanley Fung Shui-fan died at the age of 81 yesterday, according to a Facebook post by TVB Entertainment News.
The post included a tribute from longtime friend Tsang Sing-ming, former deputy director of publicity at TVB's corporate communications division, who wrote, "Painfully mourning my dear friend Kwan Gor - Fung Shui-fan, rest in peace! Forever remembered."
Fung was widely known for his roles in classic Hong Kong comedies such as Lucky Stars Go Places and The Best Partners, earning acclaim as a deadpan comedian who brought joy to generations of audiences.
