PETALING JAYA, Sept. 27 -- The Malaysian Anti Corruption Commission (MACC) is investigating several issues linked to losses suffered by UiTM Holdings Sdn Bhd in 2023.

As reported by Sinar Harian (SH), MACC chief commissioner Datuk Seri Abd Halim Aman said the probe covers a range of matters, including a 50MW solar project in Gambang, Pahang, where RM42 million was reportedly paid for purposes unrelated to the project and without the approval of the company's board of directors.

"MACC will strive to complete the investigation swiftly, independently and fairly. It must be emphasised that the probe is still ongoing given the complexity of the case, which involves technical aspects and awaits further direction from the prosecution," he was ...
